Svaz českých a moravských výrobních družstev

The Union of Czech and Moravian Production Cooperatives (SCMVD) is one of the largest and most important employers' associations in the Czech Republic. The union's membership base consists of 180 production cooperatives from across the Czech Republic with a wide range of industries, including electrical engineering, construction, mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, the chemical and cosmetic industries, the production of automated workplaces, furniture, plastics, packaging, clothing or toys, but also food and the provision of services. Currently, the union also associates more than 40 production cooperatives, which employ over 50% of people with disabilities and thus fulfil an important social role in the inclusion of disabled people in the protected labor market.
