Profil

We are a traditional Czech company specializing in the production of jacquard fabrics. Our foremost products include historical and folk costume brocades, fabrics for fashion accessories, as well as home and decorative textiles, linings, and fabrics for funeral purposes. We design, weave, and sew these fabrics ourselves. Our in-house design studio makes our products unique and exclusive, yet accessible to everyone. We create our own collections, but we also process patterns according to customer templates. Our offer is diverse in both patterns and the shapes of individual products.

BROCADES - HISTORICAL

Nowadays, brocade refers to a fabric with distinctive embossed patterns, where gold and silver have been replaced by other non-corrosive metals.
Brocade is used for many purposes, such as in religious contexts, where it is used to make chasubles, stoles, dalmatics, and other ecclesiastical garments. Other uses include upholstering historical and non-historical furniture, wallpapering representative rooms, theaters, and castles, as well as creating replicas of period costumes and traditional folk costumes. You can find our brocades in many castles and châteaux across the Czech Republic.

BROCADES - Château Hrádek u Nechanic

Historic buildings are invaluable witnesses to our past, and their preservation is crucial for future generations. The National Heritage Institute approached us with a challenging task – to create a replica of the original curtains for Hrádek u Nechanic Castle. This project was not just about craftsmanship and technical skills but also about deep respect for historical heritage.
