STV GROUP a.s. is one of the leading companies of the Czech defence industry. The company is headquartered in Prague and has strategically located divisions and sister companies in the Czech Republic and neighbouring countries. The main activity of STV GROUP is the production of ammunition, military material and the provision of repairs and modernisation of heavy military equipment. Specifically, this includes the production of a full range of ammunition and munitions, in particular small-calibre, medium-calibre and large-calibre ammunition, including tank and artillery ammunition, plastic explosives and ammunition for special engineer use. In the field of equipment repair, it fulfils contracts for Czech and foreign customers in the provision of servicing and modernisation of tank equipment, infantry fighting vehicles and artillery systems. Another dynamically developing area is the development and production of ballistic protection devices for individuals, such as helmets or bulletproof vests. STV GROUP invests steadily in the development of its own production and repair capacities as well as in individual development and production projects. A substantial part of the company's production portfolio has been put into use by the Czech Army and the Police of the Czech.
