The RIB 4D is an automated system for inspecting the interior of large-caliber gun barrels (e.g., 120 mm and 155 mm). It combines state-of-the-art laser scanning and camera technology to rapidly and accurately digitize the inner surface of the barrel. With 3D laser scans and 360° video, it reliably detects wear and damage to provide an objective data basis for assessing barrel condition and estimating remaining service life, reports in Excel or TDv018.The system is mobile, user-friendly for single-person use, and adaptable to various calibers and barrel types (smooth and rifled).
