In addition, the ZDE offers complete services for 5G campus networks, which create a basis for climate-friendly technologies and data-based sustainability solutions. Strengthening municipal administrations in the areas of digitalization and climate-friendly urban development is also a central concern of ZDE. To this end, the ZDE runs its own academy, which imparts specific knowledge and skills in the areas of digitalization, smart city and climate management and artificial intelligence. Particularly noteworthy is the germanwide unique IHK-certified qualification as a Smart City Expert (IHK), which also qualifies specialists in the field of sustainable urban development and digital transformation. In cooperation with a strong partner network, the ZDE is developing further educational approaches that focus on climate protection and sustainable innovation. Examples of this include the company's own Smart City Campus, which brings sustainable technologies to life, and its own climate forest, which clearly illustrates the connection between digitalization and climate protection.
